- Transit
- Parks in the Chugiak/Eagle River service area
- Roads in the Chugiak/Eagle River service area

What Chugiak/Eagle River property taxes DO NOT pay for:

- Anchorage and Girdwood parks
- Anchorage and Girdwood roads
Why do we vote on Anchorage Parks and Road bonds if we DO NOT pay for them?

All Municipality of Anchorage bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the entire municipality, from Chugiak to Girdwood. Consequently, all Municipality of Anchorage residents get to vote on the bonds.

However, Chugiak and Eagle River voters created their own road and park districts . . . and they DO NOT PAY any additional taxes for Anchorage roads and parks.
