Bond Funds at Work
Marston Drive/Foraker Drive RID Construction
This project reconstructed two local roads through the Road Improvement District (RID) Program. Improvements included pavement, curbs, street lighting and storm drains. The project was initiated and approved by abutting property owners who paid for a portion of the costs through special assessments. ARDSA bond funds included approximately $3.9 million for construction. The total project cost was estimated at $4.3 million. Construction was started in 2008 and completed in 2009.
