16th Avenue/Terrace Area Circulation Improvements - Medfra Street to Orca Street
This project upgraded an alley to local urban street standards. The previous installation of medians on 15th Avenue increased traffic on this alley location for any westward movement. Improvements included replacement of the pavement and the addition of curbs and lighting. Two residential dwellings were acquired to facilitate the road improvements. ARDSA bond funds totaling approximately $2.7 million paid for project development and construction. Construction was started and completed in 2008. (Community Council: Fairview, Assembly District 1)
