    72nd Avenue/Spruce Street/Lore Road Upgrade (RTP) - Lake Otis Parkway to Elmore Road

    This project upgraded this collector route to urban standards. Improvements included pavement, curbs, street lighting, drainage, pedestrian facilities, traffic calming, and landscaping. This collector street was a two-lane, strip-paved road with inadequate shoulders, drainage facilities, street lighting, and pedestrian facilities. This is a Road Transfer Program (RTP) project in which the Municipality assumed maintenance and ownership following construction start-up. ARDSA bond funds included approximately $200,000 for a local match. The project was primarily funded with previous State Grants. Total project cost was estimated at $12.4 million. Construction was started in 2008 and completed in 2009. (Community Council: Abbott Loop, Assembly District 4)
